There were several important developments today.
ALL IV lines were pulled out (including the umbilical one). Oliver is now on exclusive milk diet (still through a gastric tube though). He is up to 60 ml every 3 h.
CPAP pressure keeps being lowered (we are down to 5). Oliver is not ready yet for breathing on his own, but he seems to be making slow progress towards that. Maybe in few days...
His bilirubin came down, so no more phototherapy either.
This year we had a very different Christmas than usual. After giving Oliver some milk through a gastric tube, the three of us went to hospital cafeteria for a festive holiday lunch (burgers, fries and ice cream sandwiches). Merry Christmas!
