By 8 pm, Oliver was down pretty much to the room air (22%). Pressure is still on 7, as it was from the beginning. They were thinking of reducing this to 6 tomorrow to see how he would do with that. At this point, we are going to wait and see where things go from here.
Last time he was off the respirator, his O2 was OK, but CO2 was getting worse by the hour. I cannot figure that out. I think that is why they are leaving him on the pressure setting of 7 for now and plan to go down very, very slowly.
