Today is January 1st, New Year. Oliver has been eating quite well and he got to drinking 60 ml at the time, all on the bottle. Since he pulled out his gastric tube himself (way to go dude!) they did not put it back. Also, since his feeding is going well, they have removed the IV line. I hope that this time, the IV line stays out.
He also got moved to another room (still within ISCU) where they have an adult bed, so mom can stay with him whole day and whole night now. I hope this means we are closer to getting him home.
He is quite better with breathing and excellent with eating (almost too good), but we still have to wait and see how the poop situation develops.
