Oliver is now heavily sedated to keep his breathing less laborious. Each time he starts waking up, his vitals get worse. We are not sure what is the reason for his RDS and why is it so severe. Surfactant helped both times, but he does not seem to be making much of his own. At this point all we can do is to wait.
