Oliver has been breathing on his own now for over 24h. His doctors were discussing today whether or not to put O2 cannula, and have decided to not do it for now. So, Oliver spent most of the day today resting and learning to breathe and to eat (he still gets most of his milk through a gastric tube). He also had a lot of interaction with his mom which is helping with his recovery.
Now that most of the machines are gone, he only has one single, lonely monitor watching over him, sounding alarm each time he desats (only 7 events today). Making progress ever so slowly.
