Around the world in Cessna 182

February 20, 2004
Windhoek, Namibia (FYWH) to Alexander Bay, South Africa (FAAB)

Here I am, flying yet another night in the row. I am on the roll. This flight was a bit longer than previous three, it is 400 something miles. My destination, Aleksander Bay, is located on the Atlantic Ocean, just south of the Namibian border.

The direct route from Windhoek to Aleksander Bay was following the heading of 206 which is what I did. I stayed rather high at 10,500 ft. throughout the flight as I wanted to make sure to avoid hitting anything. Remember, these are still the highlands. The airport at Windhoek was at about 6,000 ft above the sea level.

Once more, I started really early in the morning local time and watched the sunrise on my way there. No screen shots this time. I think I had plenty of those already before, so I will spare you new ones. And, once more there were very few interesting things on my way, actually there were no interesting things on my way down, hence very few pictures.
