After a very long break, I've set the sail once again and continued my trip around the world. I had to wait a whole week before I can find time to fly this part during the daylight so that I can make screen shots of poorly rendered London and Paris. OK, it was not that bad, but I was hoping for more. Anyway, I took off from Gatwick VFR to Le Mans. First I flew over the river Thames and took few pictures of London points of interest, and then directly (more less) to Paris for a photo-op with the Eiffel tower (catching the last rays of sun), and then from there, directly to Le Mans. All in all, this part was very short but I ended up using lot of fuel due to my low altitude tourism. I will try to make more progress in the next few days, or this whole thing will take years to complete (if I continue to do one flight a week). |
