Around the world in Cessna 182

January 24, 2004
Madrid, Spain (LEMD) to Casablanca, Morocco (GMMC)

Since it was still day, I decided not to stay in Madrid (even though that is great place to visit) and to continue towards the North Africa instead. It really only took me 15 minutes or so, to refuel, create a flight plan, and I was on my way towards the capital of Morocco, Casablanca.

Right after the takeoff I climbed to 8,500 ft. as my flight plan called for, set the heading of 210, kicked back and decided to catch up on some reading. Soon after leaving Madrid, the night fall down, so as a result I had a lot of time to read.

Due to the lack of light, the flight was not very scenic, and consequently, there are only few pictures below.

Once more, the approach and landing were without any problems. Now, I can relax and spend some time in the city made famous by Humphrey Bogart.
