Around the world in Cessna 182

February 07, 2004
Yaounde, Cameroon (FKYS) to Kinshasa, Congo DRC (FZAA)

Even thought the night has already fallen, I've decided to go ahead and complete another part of my trip. After a very brief rest at Yaounde, I took off towards the capital of Congo, Kinshasa. The suggested altitude for this flight was 7,500 ft. and since that sounded reasonable, I've decided to go with it. So, after a takeoff, I've climbed to my designated altitude, set the heading to 159, a direct route from Yaounde to Kinshasa.

This time, there was no sightseeing being dark and all. Hence only a few screen shots below (takeoff and final approach). Other than some turbulence (thunderstorms), the flight was mostly uneventful.
